An Iconic House Story!
This house is owned by The 2132 Longview Company, Inc, a California corporation (CALCO). CALCO believes that homes are for homeowners, not corporations. This is why CALCO is putting the finishing touches on getting this house ready for the next movie about The Fine art of Living Well. We are almost done.
We have received an overwhelming number of inquiries asking us to say more about our progress. We thought the Bay-O-Vista community and interested buyers might want to enjoy learning about the history of this iconic house that is at the center of the next new movie, The Fine Art of Living Well.

Rising Up From a History of Racism
This house is amazing. It has a rich history of positivity, despite being born in an age of discrimination and exclusion, 2132 Longview welcomed its African American owners in 2001.

The 2132 Longview Company proudly supports The Restoration of Dignity Antiracism Project (RDAP). RDAP's mission is to invest in and support the American dream of racial equity.
This house is owned by The 2132 Longview Company, Inc, a California corporation (CALCO). CALCO purchased the house in July 2020. We wanted to get a family in this home as soon as practical. We worked on enhancing the beautiful property and investing in a fresh renovation to get the property move-in-ready for the next family.
As investors that formed CALCO, we had pondered for years what to do about discrimination and inequality in the California housing market. We began doing their research. Then, inspired by @moms4homes triumphant victory over the broken civil justice system and racism that left more than a million vacant homes in California following the great rescission, a small group of investors formed CALCO. CALCO's investors became concerned about communities plagued with long term home vacancies, regardless of the reasons. They were encouraged by @Senator Nancy Skinner's forward-thinking and the new proposed law SB 1079 called Houses for Homeowners, Not Corporations. SB 1079 became law on January 1, 2021.
